Why I Do Not Accept Insurance for Relationship Therapy

My approach to relationship therapy is focused on the well-being of the entire relationship system, rather than identifying one individual as a ‘patient’ with a diagnosis. Insurance companies require a diagnosis for one person in order to cover therapy, which doesn’t align with my philosophy of treating relationships as a whole. By not accepting insurance, I can provide flexible, non-pathologizing care that fits your unique needs without the limitations of insurance policies. This lets us focus fully on improving communication, connection, and emotional health within your relationships. Additionally, we won't be constricted to time limitations.  We can plan on one hour, one and a half hour. or 2 hour sessions, when needed.
